Sheri had never been to Seattle before. As much as she loved traveling, she had neer been to the great Pacific Northwest . Ben usually visits his parents during the wintertime, and this time the two of them decided ot make the trek up together. The weather was GORGEOUS and they both had fun doing the touristy thing.

In fact, before making their way to Seattle, Sheri wanted to watch the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" over and over again to pick out all the spots to o visit!! How cute!!

While up in Seattle, they also got a taste of the wonderful swing dance scene in Seattle and decided to go swing dancing for New Year's! The weather was great, the dancers were friendly, and they even got to take hom some New Year's souveneirs courtesy of a friendly dance named Brenda Aldridge! (Hi Brenda!)

Most of all, Jan 1, 2002, shortly after the new year, is when Sheri and Ben officially began their "boyfriend/girlfriend" relationship!

Then after a rather fun 7 months of dating, going out, being boyfriend/girlfriend, the next step was ... well... coming next. (how's that for suspense?)
